#1 son started gardening about 6 - 7 years ago. This year he outdid me by miles and miles. We both planted our tomato plants at roughly the same time and got them from the same place. Mine are doing fine and producing tomatoes (more than we will be able to eat or freeze). Okay, mine are okay... He started pulling the blossoms off of his as soon as they were setting. I'm thinking, "big mistake" but I don't say anything. He rotates his chickens from one side to the other each year. This year he brewed up a concoction of composted chicken manure and composted fish heads. He strains out a "Tea" from that cauldron and pours it in holes about 12" deep on the side of each plant. He stopped pulling blossoms in mid April. The pictures don't show the tomatoes because the foliage covers them completely. #1 grandson is all in on tomatoes too. He loves them and we have to insist that he wash them before eating them. Since he was old enough to walk he was picking and eating our cherry tomatoes by the handful. He prefers them over apples and bananas. He takes after me....

Nice plantings. Also, I respect your Grandson's choice of footwear.
