James Just making fun of an article about a twit who finds a way to label gardeners as inherently racist. Let us have our fun while you pop open a coke, sit by the computer and watch the birds and snow out the window.

James: That's the one. This thread has the value of giving us the opportunity to make jests about some of the idiocy in the news nowadays. And laughter is a good antidote to all the anxiety we get from that news, which is basically centered on some people trying to bully others, as if they are still in Junior High and forgot to grow up. If we can't make jokes about that, then the world is indeed a scary anxious place. So forgive us and skip to something more amiable for you.

James, we talk about many things on this forum- organic gardening , of course, but also we talk about cooking, crafts, our families, photography, books we're reading, cast iron skillets, birds, playful posts, and so much more. Not everyone participates in all the varied topics. Folks join in on the ones they enjoy. Ignore the ones that don't interest them.

I say lets make posts about organic gardening. It is about organic gardening. Someone was defaming gardeners, which I think is of interest to most of us, especially in todays world where first they make a baseless accusation against a group and the next thing you know the group is banned. Best way to defuse baseless, ridiculous accusations is with humor.

lilolpeapicker I love rye bread. And I love rosemary. I've never tried rosemary rye bread, and now I'm going to have to.

Not being a bread maker I got it at Whole Foods, but they didn't have it often......always get it when I can. They have a Rosemary Sourdough loaf as well.
It doesn't last long here which is why I don't bake bread.

Rosemary biscuits are sublime, too. From racists, to rice and rye and rosemary, bread and biscuits. That's how this board often rolls. Suits me just fine.

Rosemary biscuits are sublime, too. Any advice on using rosemary as a seasoning? I got a pound of rosemary powder a week or two ago and am trying to learn how to use it. I like it fresh but have been overharvesting the few plants I have in the yard.
