Will regular LED lights provide artificial sunlight for plants?
I haven't finished the new temporary greenhouse so I had to move all the houseplants(yard plants, patio plants) into the shop for this little cold snap we're going to have (29 degrees tomorrow night and low 30s for the week.
I've got LED overhead lights. Will they make do for a week or so?

Good question. I don't know. I have found that fluorescent lights are favorable. One year I took some potted up coleus into work and found that they really flourished under the fluorescent (no alliteration intended) lights.

I don't know, either, but in my experience plants can usually withstand less than optimal conditions for several days to a week.

They might need to be close to the plants. If you can't lower the lights, raise the plants.
