I'm beginning to feel left out and missing a great experience since I have no tractor.

SpringRain🕊️, once you get a tractor, there’s all those extra toys…you’ll need a bucket for sure, a blade to push snow, a brush cutter to mow the back four, a lawn roller to smooth out the mole runs. There’s no end.

There’s no end. Yeah, as the guy said when I bought mine, "It's not the tractor that's expensive. It's the implements you put on it."

centralilrookie my late neighbor and fellow paraplegic had a very similar Kubota tractor outfitted with hand controls and many attachments and rode herd on his 15 acres with it.

Wheelgarden , I’ll bet your neighbor was in his proudest moments operating that tractor and getting the impossible accomplished!👏👏👏 reuben , that “guy” nailed it with the attachments comment! Once you start using the tractor to make life easier your mind envisions other tasks that could be accomplished if I just had one more attachment….. 😂😂😂

He was a big ol' guy from Chesapeake Bay. He acquired his disability in his thirties, and never lost any bit of drive, honest pride, and love of life. Kept on skippin'.

Wheelgarden, I think that some folks with early onset challenges are stronger, more resilient. respectful, and enjoy life more than those who slide through life with few challenges. A lot can be learned from them.

I’ll bet your neighbor was in his proudest moments operating that tractor and getting the impossible accomplished! Yes, he loved his tractor time, but he also ran a successful business, maintained a long-term marriage, and travelled all over. Nothing impossible, he was just doing the possible. As I mentioned earlier, he was a big ol' Marylander. Kept several parrots who shared his house. Looked like a pirate. Shared bay crab, scallops, and roe with us.

Back to tractors: My next-door neighbor guy has a world-class tractor of some east-European make with plows, tillers, hoggers, augers, and all the rest. Has had very little problem with it all for over 20 years. When I see him out, tractor envy ensues.
