Totally get where you're coming from! Giving your rosemary and sage a taste of the great outdoors with some real sunshine can definitely give them a boost, especially after being cooped up inside. A couple hours of sun a day sounds like a solid plan, just be sure to ease them into it so they don't get sunburned (yeah, plants can get sunburned, go figure). As for their structure, they might get a bit bushier and happier with the real deal sunshine, but when it's time to bring them back in, they'll likely adjust back to the artificial light, especially if it's been working well for them. It's a bit like letting them have a summer vacation; sure, they might miss the sun when they're back inside, but the change in scenery and the extra energy they'll get from real sunlight can help them thrive even more. Plus, a little outdoor time can strengthen them up. So, yeah, giving them a glimpse of the good life outside? Sounds like a good idea to me!
