Planted carrots the other day. Danvers, Nantes and a freebee variety of colored ones. I usually have decent luck with carrots.

binnylou, Negative I think the rain packed the ground too hard, as it came soon after I planted, and rained very hard.

Carrots began sprouting a couple days ago, planted less than 2 weeks ago.

I always have a stand of the multi colored ones....Dragon, Cosmic.....Purple Passion...they grow well for me.

Mine are doing well, the usual orange ones plus Cosmic purple this year, only because it was a free packet from somewhere.
