I grow Lavender, mainly because I enjoy the scent when working in the flower garden. I have two plants, and I think this is their third year. They have had a lot of growth this year and are sprawled out quite a bit.
Shall I prune them this fall, leave them to do what they want, or prune them next spring? These plants grow in somewhat of a micro climate on the southeast and east side of the barn.

I prune in the spring, when you start to see new growth. And cut back about a third to half.
I grow lavender all over the place- full sun, partial sun, even a couple in quite a bit of shade (though not full shade)
I also do a light prune (more like dead haeding) after the flowering. This gives me more flowers in late summer.

Would lavender cuttings taken now have a chance of growing roots? The plant has been snowed on, frosted, and frozen this fall.

It's most likely well into dormancy. I'd wait until Spring.

Currently only English and Spanish lavender around the Casa. There are a couple Lavender Festivals semi locally I want to attend.
