Size does not keep The Princess from thinking she is a lap dog! At least she doesn't try to sleep on top of you as a cat may. The only way I could keep my late cat off me was by sleeping on my side. Miss Kitty is long dead, but I will be sleeping on my side for the rest of my life.

I believe she is just too busy!! She does not lie down unless she is crated. She IS constant motion. If she isn't chasing the ball it is one of her many squeak toys or a favorite bone....If she gets tired of those she paces the floor...when she paces I get nervous that she will wet inside...so I either take her outside if she hasn't gone for awhile or I will crate her. tom π , I used to have my daughter's cat when she moved and couldn't take her....she used to lie on me anytime even on my side or even my back occasionally. Didn't matter to her.

The baby has grown! And she finally has a name Elie. It's from the sanskrit name Eli (pronounced A-lee) which means clever woman. But it will be easier to call her Ellie. She is the smartest cat either of us have lived with. She even does problem solving (another story) on my desk in hubby's cap
