It's Daylily time in my flower garden, and I had a huge black and yellow fuzzy bumblebee visiting. The variety Mary Todd has larger blossoms and I watched this bumblebee try to land...nearly turning a$$ over apple cart. I don't know what his problem was...he had no problem moving from one blossom to another. Perhaps he was overloaded. DUI?
Gardening like I'm gonna live forever, right here in central Iowa. Posting since 2008. 🍁
I have a problem...the pup chases the bees that are cleaning up in the garden. I am thinking of putting a fence around where most the bees are but Jesse is finding bees in the flowers set around the back yard.
Have a great gardening day! hoe, hoe, hoe Pea Upstate NY, zone 5
lilolpeapicker, If he gets stung, maybe he won't chase them anymore! Princess has tried it in the past, I say "no" or "get outta there" and she does. She only has to be told once. Of course I don't know what she's doing when I'm not looking.....just like kids!
