I absolutely have to have hyacinths...and lots of them. Somewhat short lived but... Their scent is absolutely intoxicating!!
Sometimes, when the air is right, I just walk out the back door and can catch their fragrance.
I often make it a point to go around, bend down and take big sniffs of them all... I just love them.

That's right! Easter flowers!
I forgot about my Madonna lilies! They smell heavenly! Every year for the past I can't remember how long, I would get Mom a Madonna lily for Easter which then got planted outside... So I have a few areas where lots of lilies come up. So showy and fragrant!

Me too Judy! I plant every bulb I get into the garden..sometimes they return, sometimes they don't. I have a wee patch of tiny little daffodils that I know we're forced in such a way that they would die off..but they haven't. Sometime s you just get lucky.

Claude, I have those tete-a-tete daffodils coming up now. Several years ago I lucked out...after Easter flower sale at the supermarket was selling the passe pots for $1.00... Scarfed them all up and they've been multiplying ever since. They're so cute and fresh!

I bought some Hyacinth seeds. They came up nicely. Can't wait to put them outside.

Now, for a completely different kind of "fragrant"... I was never able to detect any scent whatsoever from Bradford pear blooms, while my family insisted that they absolutely stink to high heaven. Then last year, I finally gave up cigarettes. Now, I smell what they mean! *gag* (puke)

Nah, the fruit is tiny and inedible. An ornamental grown for showy white blooms in spring as well as brilliant fall foilage. A tree prone to split as it gets larger. As pretty as they are, I do regret planting them years ago. And now I can smell them in spring. Ah, well, live and learn. And with that, I'll let the thread get back to pleasantly fragrant flowers...

Wheel garden..lol..be careful what you wish for, Hun? For years DH has been calling me 'the nose' because I have a very keen sense of smell. But he has been a non smoker for 10 years now and he can smell better...but I still Reign supreme.
