Kitty has started behaving strangely. She comes over and gives a head bump. I pet her from head to tail and give her tail a little tug and a wiggle. For that, I get more head bumps. I swear this cat likes to have her tail pulled and wiggled. She will stand with her butt against my leg and her tail waving in the air. If I give it a tug and wiggle, she gives another head bump. She will continue as long as I do. Is this a sexual thing with female cats? She is spayed.

Maybe she can't poop right?
Take her out to a freshly tilled bed. 1 or 2, NOT Bed 6!

I think all of the cats I've ever had have done that. They love their tails being tugged after a head to tail pet. And also will keep asking for more. I alway interpreted the head bumps as communication....that feels good. Do it again.

I think head bumps are a sign that your cat loves you. That's what kittens do to their mother. I think you'll find she only does it to one person in your household at least that's what our cat does anyway.

I asked two local experts about this behavior. Miss Bella said "Yeah, whatever" and Hazel said "Never trust a cat."
