It has a silvery-green color that is nice in the herb area When I used to plant herb gardens for people, Common sage was a favorite for that silvery-green color in "gray" or "white" gardens I'd do. It was one of the few edible plants that worked well in gardens like that.

My sage is coming back in both places, after two 7° nights, in an otherwise mild winter.

When watering the basement babies this morning…everybody was thirsty…I did a pinch and roll test of a small sage leaf. Oh, my, that is a wonderful fragrance. Turkey and stuffing sounds kind of good.
I may split that pot of starts and put a few next to the barn foundation.
