The Princess has patience when it comes to critters. She is waiting out a squirrel in the tree!

I was out taking pics, Princess decided to sit down and watch me! Good dog. Didn't even bribe her with a bean!

She is a shorthair lab as far as we know. (Lab/German shorthair).

I sometimes don't wear my reading glasses when on the computer. When I see the title of this thread, I keep seeing 'Violence in the Garden'. Not wearing glasses doesn't help catching typos either, lol.
Speaking of violence, did the pretty doggie get the squirrel? ;)

Nope, never a squirrel. Just rabbits. lilolpeapicker What is a close hairdo? I guess we could do one of those DNA tests they have for dogs and see exactly what she is. But we don't care, she is a good dog!

But we don't care, she is a good dog! agreed. Close hairdo is the sleek coat some dogs wear, no undercoat.

lilolpeapicker She does have quite an undercoat, shedding proves that! The rescue place suggested she could be part Vizla, but they have no undercoat. I don't think she is that.

Coloring wise she could be Weimaraner maybe?? or a Heinz 57 variety? ;) Nearly all dogs develop some sort of winter protection coat, but even some shepherds have that close to the body coat.

lilolpeapicker You have my curiosity awake, maybe we should spend the $45 for a DNA test!
