I have had it in all products listed there. it is a stronger taste, some say it is easier to digest than cows.
I choose a dairy free diet for the most part.

I love goat milk & goat milk products, but it IS an acquired taste.

Never had goat milk but I've had goat cheese and goat yogurt. Plus I've eaten goat and I use goat milk soap. Most of the goats raised around here are Boer meat type goats.

I love goat meat as well. Find it as a sort of cross between lamb & beef.

There's a great goat milk ice cream La Loo's (sold at natural food stores). I've only seen vanilla and dark chocolate. Can't get past the chocolate. It is really dark and chocolatey. Sooo good.

And goat milk cheeses!! How I adore them.
Both young & aged Goat Milk Goudas are favorites around here. The aged will remind you of a good aged Italian parmesan. Good for both snacking & grating.
And I ALWAYS have a log or two of fresh goat cheese in the fridge. Great for topping salads, making sauces, stuffing into boneless, skinless chicken breasts - the list of uses is endless.

Actually the goat cheese "logs"are an ingredient in Emerille's New Orleans Cheescake. It's on food network.com.

Goat milk does have a stronger flavor than cows milk. It is also naturally homogenized. Haven't had any for a while though, since cows are easier to milk.

Part of the plan when we bought our little farm was to get a dairy animal. I planned on a miniature Jersey, but at $3,000, that was a bit too steep. Then i decided on goats. Fortunately, I first decided to try local goat products. We bought milk, and butter, and cheese, and yogurt, and fudge. We tried from multiple sources. It all tasted like licking a goat butt (technically, I have never actually licked a goat butt, but I imagine this is what it would taste like). Blech on all counts.
Then, like the city slicker I am, it dawned on me that in order to get dairy, I would have to breed my animals. And then I would need to do something with the babies. So I would have an ever-expanding herd, because not only can I not eat my friends, I cannot bear to give / sell my friends to other people who are going to eat them.
Now I drink almond milk because I am a heartless bitch who just does not care about almonds and how they die....

NC, you had me laughing until I had a coughing attack. I am the same way about animals which is why I have some geriatric chickens and I also do not like goat products. Somehow they always have a musty taste to me which I could not identify but then again I have never gotten too close to a goats butt!

Red - I don't do soy , I use a good bit of coconut milk. Haven't tried the others as I am happy with the almond milk. One day I will get enthusiastic and make my own, but for now, I kind of like that I can buy it by the box and keep it on the shelf. I will say it does NOT work in pudding unless you supplement with some cornstarch
