lilolpeapicker, You can watch them on all youtube! If you go to the site, you sign up for some free groceries from Thrive, then they send you a link to episode 1. But then you find out they are on youtube without going through all those hoops. Granted, some of it is advertising for Thrive groceries, but that's OK. What they say is in line with all the other stuff I've been watching on Netflix. I'm almost afraid to eat alot of stuff now! But when I think about it, I eat way more veggies than most people, so giving up some of the crap would not be a big deal.

What is Thrive groceries, a chain not in my area, or an online company?
What do I look up on youtube, gmosrevealed, or Thrive?

pepperhead212, Look up GMO's Revealed. Thrive is an online only organic grocery that has 2 warehouses, one on east coast and one on west. Their concept is great, though you can't buy fresh items. They also have items for gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan. Prices are very competitive.

I try to stick with what I grow lately cuz I am afraid of what I am eating as well.. Unfortunately I am a big meat eater, less so over the last year or two so I do try to buy organic or at least grass-fed meat.

lilolpeapicker, I have been gradually cutting out meats altogether. Maybe once or twice a week. Really don't miss it! Next I'm working on less dairy and my beloved butter....that will be a tough one. There are videos out there on plant based eating. Very interesting.

Mumsey, actually I am getting back to butter more now than I have over recent years using non gmo margarine as I heard it still isn't good for you. but I do need to reduce that intake. But butter just tastes so good and it melts better.

No margarine in this house, either. We switched to butter several years ago...now hubby uses EVOO in place of butter....on a baked potato. Can't do that.

Although I love butter, it doesn't love me. I don't use butter or margarine. If I want a pseudo butter-like piece of toast I drizzle organic canola oil on my toast with a touch of salt. It beats dry toast! On the extremely rare occasions I eat a baked potato I use organic low fat sour cream. Otherwise it's organic olive or canola oil for daily cooking and baking. My diet leans towards the mediterranean diet type.

Mumsey, I love honey/cinnamon toast! Hubby likes cardamon instead of cinnamon.

It finally happened... The other evening I saw one of those attorney commercials for Roundup! If you were a landscaper, farmer, etc. and were exposed to Roundup and got sick you can get lots of MONEY! Maybe one day people will wake up and take a good look at history of the food on their plate.
