Anyone make their own, for whatever reason? Found this recipe but haven't tried it. I'd use it for baking bread. I'd probably leave out the savory and lavender. I grow oregano, basil, and rosemary, so thyme could go by the wayside as well. Not sure how crucial safe might be.
• 3 tablespoons oregano • 3 tablespoons thyme • 1 teaspoon basil • 1 teaspoon sage leaf • 3 tablespoons savory • 2 tablespoons lavender flowers • 1 teaspoon rosemary
Yield: ¾ cup
Store the mixture in small airtight jars in a dark cool location.

That's a great sounding mix of herbs.
I don't premix my herbs or spices though. I'm a 'pinch of this and tap of that' kind of cook and let what ever falls into the pan be what it is for that day.
I grow all of those except the savory.

I also buy it pre-mixed. I mostly only use my own herbs as fresh except for Chives.

Anyone make their own, for whatever reason? Going to try now. Have all the ingredients planted around the house.

Go for it! And let us know what you think of it. In the last couple of years I've begun to make my own (spice) mixes. Some using herbs I've grown myself; others just from the bulk store. Cuz I can adjust what I don't like, such as excess amounts of sodium, or add a little extra heat where required. Maybe I'll give this recipe a try and we can share experiences The only herb I don't have here is Rosemary and that's easy enough to purchase.
